Professional golfers, celebrities and local business people teed up for the annual Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship at Nailcote Hall

Professional golfers, celebrities and local business people teed up for the annual Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship at Nailcote Hall. PGA professional, Richard OHanlon, won the championship in a nailbiting finish at the last hole. Tony Jacklin CBE, hosted the event and came in tenth, finishing on a level par. The fairways were sprinkled with some A-list celebrities including comedian Jasper Carrott OBE and Sir Bobby Charlton. Former England cricketer, Brian Close, age 79, won both celebrity golf days. Away from the golf there was a tented village offering pampering treatments from the John Lewis beauty counter, and childrens activities. Gala dinners in the evening raised valuable funds for Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People and The Seve Ballesteros Foundation.
