A group of 18 Warwickshire artists, fed up with having to fight for gallery space, has gone it alone with their own exhibition. The inaugural show of the Arts Assembly was held at A E Contemporary Art in Warwick recently and was so successful the group hopes to exhibit again. Arts Assembly was founded by Stratford based painter Andrew Christopher who put an advert in a local paper calling for interested painters, potters and photographers in the region to join forces and set up their own exhibition to prove you don't need gallery support to be successful.
