What are you studying?

A levels : English Language, Mathematics, History, Spanish, General Studies

Tell us about yourself and what you have done to be a Bright Young Thing?

I was introduced to golf by my dad on my ninth birthday when he took me to the driving range and bought me a nine iron and a putter. I had a lesson on the day and from there onwards I was hooked. I played for the Warwickshire Junior Girls team and at age 12 won the English Schools under 16 Championships. Over the next few years I was runner up in the English Under 13 Girls Championships and became the youngest ever Warwickshire player to be awarded Ladies County Colours.

Representing England has been one of the major commitments of my career so far, the first was an International Match against Spain when I was 14 and most recently I was part of the Silver Medal winning English Girls team in the Europeans Championships which were held in Sardinia, Italy. Some other successes I have had are winning the English Girls Under 15 Championship in 2009, Runner up in the British Girls Open Matchplay Championships in 2009, English Girls Champion 2010 and I have been invited to train with the England Ladies Performance Squad.

What are your ambitions?

My ambition is to achieve grade As in my subjects at A level to enable me to go to an American University and continue my golfing career alongside my education.

Whats best about Warwickshire?

Representing Warwickshire in county golf has taken me all over the country to places I had never seen before and I have made many friends along the way.

What do you do in your spare time?

When Im not working on my game I enjoy swimming, listening to music and spending time relaxing with my family and friends.

What (and why) are your favourite:

My favourite book is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl because it describes a world of pure imagination which sounds extremely tasty!

The Harry Potter films are my favourites as the special effects are incredible and the story line is gripping, which can be scary at times.
