BRIGHT YOUNG THING IN A NUTSHELL

Name: Amba Reohorn

Age: 15

Lives: Solihull

Attends: Tudor Grange Academy

What are you studying?

I am in Year 11, studying Art, Media, Sociology, French, English, Science, Maths and R.E

Tell us about yourself and what you have done to be a Bright Young Thing?

I was scouted by Select Model Management at last years Clothes Show Live in Birmingham. They are the official model scouts for the event and represent really well known models like Agyness Deyn, Stella Tennant, David Gandy and The Saturdays so it was really exciting. I wasnt expecting it at all, but I went to London to visit the agency with my parents to find out more and we decided to join them.

Since then I have been modelling part-time, at weekends and during school holidays, and Im really enjoying it. I recently did a shoot for Windle and Moodie Hairdressers, and that was a great; the make up artists and hairstylists made me look so different in every shot.

What are your ambitions?

I would like to study advertising and marketing at Uni and continue modelling part-time. Id love to do one of the catwalk shows, like London Fashion Week! They seem like a whole new world to being on a photo shoot and the atmosphere looks really exciting.

Whats best about Warwickshire?

I love the Warwickshire countryside. When the weather is good, my family and I sometimes go for long walks. I also like shopping in Solihull town centre with my friends. There are some good shops, like Topshop, so you dont always have to go all the way to Birmingham for clothes shopping.

What do you do in your spare time?

I wouldnt say Im very sporty but I like running and swimming in my spare time - its relaxing and its a really easy way to stay healthy. I also hang out with my friends quite a lot, either shopping or listening to music.

What are your favourite:

Book: My favourite book is Michael Mcintyres Life and Laughing. Im reading it now and literally cannot stop laughing. Ive always liked his shows on TV and love the fact that his writing is as funny as his stand up shows.

Film: I really like Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, and Ive lost count of the number of times Ive seen it. The characters are teenage girls like me so I get what theyre going through and the story is hilarious.

TV Show: Im really into Made in Chelsea its really interesting to see what London life is like for some people. Ollie is my favourite character because hes so funny and comes out with some very random things.

ARE YOU A BRIGHT YOUNG THING? OR DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE UNDER THE AGE OF 25 WHO SHOULD BE FEATURED ON THIS PAGE?
