On October 21 Warwickshire Life and Hotel La Tour are hosting a brand new wedding show, Chic City Weddings, showcasing wedding businesses that will make your perfect day. Here is our guide to Hotel La Tour the perfect venue ...

Hotel La Tour Birmingham is an exciting new venue offering city centre weddings for modern couples.

The stylish hotel, with its striking design and chic interiors, is a welcome newcomer to the wedding scene and promises a modern twist on classic hospitality.

Civil ceremonies and receptions for 50 to 100 guests take place in The Auden Rooms where the team all true romantics at heart will embrace the couples dreams for their big day, helping to create the memories of a lifetime. There are more informal dining options for larger numbers.

Lunches and dinners are prepared by Head Chef Alex Penhaligon and his team. Choose from dishes such as Brie and confit onion tartlet with herb dressing; Pan fried salmon with fennel puree, burnt butter capers and anchovies and Chocolate tart with honeycomb ice cream. The celebrations and mouthwatering food - continue into the evening with up to 200 guests, entertained by live music or a disco according to the couples musical tastes. The hotel can also accommodate more intimate groups: the private dining room at Aalto, La Tours brasserie-style restaurant, is perfect for up to 20 guests.

Since its spring opening, Hotel La Tour has become something of a stylists favourite: it is already the location of choice for a number of fashion and food photographers. The stunning building provides a variety of great backdrops for wedding photography, from its triple height, glass-fronted atrium, dramatic spiral staircase and roof terrace with views of the city. In addition, the hotel is just a few graceful steps away from the new City Park, all ready to be captured for the family album. The La Tour team will serve drinks to guests while the photographer captures the happy couple.

Elsewhere in the hotel, youll find Alvar Bar with its jaunty cocktail list and terrace, Aalto Restaurant with its menu of classic dishes presented with a modern twist, and 174 beautifully-appointed bedrooms and suites with sumptuous soft furnishings, bespoke artwork and sparkling bathrooms (the suites even have TVs over the bath!)

Wedding packages start at 35 per person for celebrations of 50 to100 guests. This includes room hire for lunch/dinner and civil ceremony if required; three course meal or buffet; all table linen, napkins, cutlery and crockery; banqueting manager to look after the party throughout the day and carry out toastmaster duties if required; suite for the night of the ceremony for the couple plus two double or twin rooms for parents or special guests.
