Fashion for womens wellbeing

Panache of Dorridge hosted a fashion event at The Forest Hotel in Dorridge in aid of the charity Wellbeing of Women. Averil Smith, owner of Panache, said: The Wellbeing of Women charity was brought to more prominence by the late Princess Diana and the audience were keen to hear more about the charity from Mr John Pogmore, a retired consultant gynaecologist from the Womens Hospital in Birmingham. Mr Pogmore, who also conducted the auction, said the money raised would go towards research into a range of womens diseases, particularly conditions that were not often openly discussed due to their sensitive nature. The evening raised 700 for the charity.
