The Croft Preparatory School is delighted to announce that our Year 6 pupils have achieved outstanding results in their Secondary School Entrance Examinations. A remarkable 37 Scholarships have been gained by 19 pupils!

The Croft strives for academic excellence, ensuring that every child is educated as an individual, and given the chance to fulfil their potential, in an inspiring and stimulating environment. The Crofts unique ethos in using specialist teachers for each individual subject in Years 5 and 6, provides pupils with a greater depth and understanding; not only preparing them for Secondary Education, but encouraging the development of self-confidence and empowering pupils to become life-long learners.

The Scholarships results are testament to the hard work pupils, together with their motivated teachers and support from their parents, are able to achieve. Year 6 pupils have been awarded Academic, Music, Art, Sport, Maths and All Rounder Scholarships, from 6 different independent schools, demonstrating the incredible options Croft pupils have available to them.

Mr Cook, Headmaster, says, The fantastic results reinforce to me how well the pupils are prepared over their time at The Croft, and is a reflection of how highly regarded our pupils are by Secondary Schools. This academic year has been filled with highlights, Scholarship triumph, National Schools Rugby Tournament success and positioned 51st in the Sunday Times Top 100 Independent Preparatory Schools, in this, The Crofts 80th Birthday Year.
