There is so much availability on the market for windows and door manufacturers with a variety of materials, the thought of replacing them can be nerve racking to say the least. These top tips will help to ensure the company you choose will produce a good job at a realistic rate

John Lannen, one of the Directors at L & L Installations who are currently celebrating their 35th year of trading, offers you these 3 simple tips to help you choose the right company.

Research the quality of the products you plan to buy

Look at the quality and the manufacturer who makes them, and where and to what specifications they work too, also installation and how will this be executed?

L & L are unique for locally manufacturing our own products as well as selling select national brands. We have a dedicated team of craftsmen who are trained to at least NVQ Level 2, who produce locally in Tewkesbury our PVCu windows, doors and conservatories. For over 35 years we been working to a unique standard we believe is the best with innovative methods and proven excellent results. Anyone can enjoy a guided tour around our factory to see our technicians at work (as long as you pre-book).

Choose a well established supplier

Planning to buy new windows and doors can be a costly investment. You must ensure that the products you install are durable and will enhance your property. Companies predominately offer some form of guarantee but please do study the small print carefully and consider the value it may have in a few years time.

A good indicator of a trustworthy company is a guarantee backed by QA National Warranties combined with membership of FENSA, the Glass and Glazing Federation, the government’s Trust Mark Scheme and the Which? Trusted Trader scheme. L & L Installations is associated with all of these. Please be aware of any supplier who asks for a deposit on your order. L & L will only request payment once we are sure that you are satisfied with the work completed.

Consider what after-sales service you require

As part of our 10 year guarantee we will provide you with an annual inspection of any products we have supplied. We will visit your home and check your installation each year and if any issues arise we will resolve these immediately. Even if you sell your home and move on, your guarantee will continue and be passed onto the new owners of your home.

For 3 decades, L & L Installations have developed an unrivalled reputation as one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of glazed upvc, aluminium and timber. Being a family company, the team firmly believe in delivering incredibly high quality products and impeccable service, at a reasonable price.

You can visit the impressive L & L showroom in Tewkesbury to talk about the options for your home, and experience the extensive range of products. Call L & L today on 01684 295 038 to discover the latest offers and arrange your appointment.
