HOMES24.CO.UK Exciting Features and Tools Grow

Homes24.co.uk, the property channel of Archant, the UK's largest independently owned regional media businesses, and publisher of the Archant Life magazines, has had a strong reaction from users since re-launching last month.

Homes24.co.uk, the property channel of Archant, the UK's largest independently owned regional media businesses, and publisher of the Archant Life magazines, has had a strong reaction from users since re-launching last month.

More people than ever before have enjoyed browsing the increased number of properties for sale and for rent on the site. Tools, such as AskMe and TemptMe, designed to help people looking for property to rent or buy, have all had a surge in interest with more questions to local estate agents being posted than ever before.

To complement these, another new feature has also been launched allowing users to view archived property listings records and designed to empower them with even more information to help make better property-related decisions.

The unique archive already has over 2 million historic listing records from across the UK and covers properties that have been on the market for either sale or rent at some time in the last 10 years. The archived records contain photos, descriptions, asking prices and listing dates and can be found in the 'Home Values' section of the homes24.co.uk website, marked with an 'H' to indicate a historic listing record.

As well as being a unique and informative research tool, the new homes24 Property Archive is sure to become a must-use for the property curious who will now be able to see what their home and those of their friends and neighbours looked like in times gone by.

Martin Cunningham, commercial director of homes24 said:

"One of the benefits of the internet is its ability to make useful information free and easily accessible to everyone. This innovative feature is a real benefit to homes24 users and will become an essential research tool for house hunters to help them make smarter property decisions."
